Five Agencies in the USA for Women Protection

Every individual has a right to work in a healthy environment that is free from discrimination and intimidation. However, women are deprived of this fundamental right of becoming a part of a place where they can utilize their abilities. United Nations has marked November 25 as International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The day is intended to raise awareness for women who face sexual and physical harassment and emotional abuse in the workplace. Moreover, we are listing the five agencies that help to secure the rights of women.

1. UN Women:

The Empowerment of Women (UN Women) is dedicated to gender equality and protect the rights of women. The agency was founded to accelerate the progress women make and to identify their needs across the globe. UN Women mainly focuses on four fundamental rights that include;

a. Women leading and participating in the governing system.

b. Women must have decent economic security.

c. They can have a life free from violence.

d. Women can influence building peace and resilience.

2. Womankind Worldwide:

Womankind Worldwide is an international organization that supports an equal partnership for women intending to transform their lives. This is a visionary organization, mainly emphasizes the rights of women and to make sure that they are respected and valued. Mutually corresponding with their local supporters, this organization gives shelter to girls and women who escape from violence and advocate their rights.

3. Center for Reproductive Rights:

This organization was established in 1992 and has strengthened laws and policies of women’s rights in more than 50 countries. This is one of the groundbreaking records before national courts and the UN committee. It emphasizes on reproductive healthcare, safe abortions, and birth control that are usually neglected by people. It influences the laws against documenting abuses and promotes reproductive health and human rights.

4. Equality Now:

The name of the organization Equality Now says it all. It is dedicated to individuals, groups, institutions, and survivors to achieve changes. Furthermore, it attracts the global attention of media on individual cases of abuse. It puts pressure on the government and other social activists to adopt, enforce, and implement laws that are crucial for women’s protection.

5. Rise Up:

Rise Up works on activating the rights of families, women, girls, and communities through investing, building movements, and strengthening leadership. This network of Rising has crossed several transforming the lives of seven million women and is still progressing. This organization has impacted 100 law agencies in the USA, South Asia, and Latin America. It fortifies the leadership through advancing the sexual, educational, and economic empowerment of women.
